Filing a takedown notice
If you believe that content hosted on rec4.app infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). Your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL or other specific location on rec4.app where the material can be found.
- Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which rec4 may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original takedown notice.
Send your counter-notice to hi@lab4.app. Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, we will restore the removed material.
Repeat infringer policy
rec4 maintains a policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright. If a user receives multiple valid DMCA takedown notices, their account and access to the service may be terminated.
