Acceptance

By using rec4 (the desktop app or rec4.app website), you agree to these terms.

The service

rec4 provides screen recording software for macOS and optional cloud video hosting. The desktop app is free to use. Cloud hosting has free and paid tiers.

Your content

You retain full ownership of all videos you record and upload. We don't claim any rights to your content. You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to record and share the content in your videos.

Acceptable use

Don't use rec4 to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or abusive content
• Violate others' privacy or intellectual property
• Attempt to abuse or exploit the service

Storage limits

Free accounts have a 5 GB storage limit. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms. We'll give reasonable notice before any changes to storage limits.

Availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided "as is" without warranty.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
