What we collect

rec4 collects minimal data needed to provide the service:

• License key hash — a one-way hash of your license key, used to associate uploaded videos with your account. We never store your actual key.
• Video files — stored on Cloudflare R2 when you choose to upload. Videos are only accessible via your unique share link.
• View counts — anonymous aggregate counts for your videos.

What we don't collect

• No personal information (name, email, address)
• No tracking cookies or analytics
• No screen recording data — all recordings stay on your device unless you explicitly upload them

Data storage

All data is stored on Cloudflare's global network (D1 for metadata, R2 for video files). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Data deletion

You can delete any video at any time from your dashboard. Deleted videos are immediately removed from storage.
